The space solution speeds up construction work
June 29, 2022 ÄRIPÄEV /EHITUSUUDISED
An article about the cooperation between AS Datel and P. P. Projekt was published in the Äripäev construction news portal Ehitusuudised.ee. Knowledge of big data analysis, on the one hand, and technical know-how on the other.
According to Aimo Kõva, Business Development Manager at Datel, an engineer can go back in time to 2016 based on the data processing of the images collected by the Sentinel-1. “Collecting a similar amount of data, for example, geodetically, using drones, LIDAR or other similar applications is not rational from the viewpoints of time or cost efficiency,” Kõva explained.
According to Richard Viies, Head of the Construction Audit Division of P.P. Projekt, the combining of satellite research enables users to obtain preliminary information at a reasonable cost when planning a project by analyzing the surface geometry, and the effect of seasons, surrounding constructions, and demolitions. We present Sille.space at MiningTech World event
April 27, 2021 AS Datel
27-28 April 2021, our Business Development Manager Aimo Kõva presents SILLE.space at the MiningTech World virtual event. How to cope with health& safety and environmental regulation high demands, a lack of skilled labor, and increased operating costs in the mining industry?
We can help with remote monitoring solutions. In addition to identifying if surrounding construction, mining, or geological subsidence has caused a deformation or structural weaknesses, our service SILLE.space also allows users to develop a timeline for existing subsidence-related issues, including data that land or structural deformities pre-existed construction or mining work.
Sille’s data can bolster transparency in the mining industry by assessing the land and surrounding structures before and after mining to detect possible movement. This data can also be used as evidence to show that mining has in fact not caused any damages.
